Children's Ministry
At University Community Church, our Children’s Ministry helps children grow in the love of Jesus in a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment. Through Bible lessons, worship, and engaging activities, children learn about Jesus and are encouraged to build a personal relationship with Him. We are committed to strong safeguarding so every child can grow in faith while parents feel confident about their care.
Students' Ministry
At University Community Church, our student ministry exists to reach students with the Gospel and help them grow into Christ-like, mission-minded leaders. Through Bible studies, discipleship groups, prayer, worship, and service opportunities, students deepen their relationship with Jesus, build meaningful friendships, and grow in leadership. We believe that as students are transformed by Christ today, they will become faithful leaders in the church and community tomorrow.

Faith & Work
At University Community Church, Gulu Faith & Work equips Christians to live out their faith in the marketplace, seeing work as a God-given calling to serve Christ. Through workshops, mentorship, networking, and prayer, believers are encouraged to pursue excellence, integrity, and mission in their professions. We meet every Monday at Rolling Donkey at 5:30 pm to encourage one another to glorify God through our work and influence in the city.
Rooted Seminars
Rooted Seminars are weekly learning gatherings at University Community Church designed to help believers grow deeper in their faith and understanding of God’s Word (Colossians 2:6–7). These interactive, Scripture-rich sessions engage both heart and mind, helping people think biblically about life and walk more faithfully with Christ. Join us every Thursday from 5:30–7:00 PM at UCC (Bamboo Church) as we grow together, rooted in truth and strengthened in faith.

Shepherd the Flock
Shepherd the Flock is an annual two-day conference that gathers pastors and church leaders from across the region for encouragement and equipping in faithful pastoral ministry (1 Peter 5:2–3). Through biblical teaching and practical wisdom from experienced pastors, the conference addresses real challenges in shepherding God’s people and strengthens leaders for their calling. The next conference will be held on 22–23 October 2026 at Elephante Common, and pastors and church leaders are warmly invited to attend.
Missions
At University Community Church, we are committed to sharing the love of Christ on the campus, in the city of Gulu, and among the unreached. On campus, we disciple students through Bible studies, worship gatherings, and mentoring that help them grow as followers of Jesus. In the city, we partner with pastors and church planters to strengthen gospel-centered churches, and beyond our region we support mission work among the Ik people in northeastern Uganda, bringing the hope of the gospel where Christ is not yet known.
