God Loves a Cheerful Giver
As members of UCC, we've covenanted ourselves to "Give cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations." We believe that giving is an act of worship, as demonstrated in scripture by the Macedonians in that, "They gave themselves first of all to the Lord", and then they gave to support Paul's mission trips (2 Corinthians 8:5).
