Gulu Faith & Work – Serving Christ in the Marketplace

 

At the heart of our Gulu Faith & Work is a simple but powerful truth from Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men... You are serving the Lord Christ.” We believe that work is more than a means to earn a living — it is a calling. As followers of Jesus, we are called to bring Kingdom values into every sphere of society, including business, government, education, healthcare, and the creative industries.

 

In Gulu, a growing city full of potential and challenges, our vision is to equip Christian professionals to live out their faith through their daily work. We want to see believers who are:

• Excellent in their craft, knowing they work for the Lord

• Ethical in their decisions, reflecting Christlike integrity

• Empowered to serve others, using their influence to uplift communities

• Engaged in mission, seeing their workplace as a platform for the Gospel

 

Whether you're a teacher, entrepreneur, mechanic, designer, or doctor, your work matters to God. Through workshops, mentorship, networking, and prayer, our initiative seeks to inspire a generation that doesn’t separate Sunday faith from Monday work. Still, it integrates the two to glorify God and bless Gulu.
